Sweden’s Melodic Death Metal heavyweight, HYPOCRISY and Canadian Brutal Death Metal Band KATAKLYSM, with a long-awaited tour to Japan!
Hypocrisy from Sweden, who has made a name for themselves in the metal scene since 1990 and is still regarded as a heavyweight. Vocal Peter Tägtgren is extremely popular and there are many metal fans who worship him. Also, the current drummer Horgh is a member of the black metal band Immortal from Norway, and his talent has attracted attention. This tour to Japan has been highly anticipated! Expect a chaotic power more than ever before!
Kataklysm are known as one of the first ever death metal bands in Canada. In the early days of formation (1991) Katakylsm’s sound was best described as fast, grind-like, fierce death metal, but after experiencing lineup changes, the sound and style have evolved over the years. “Meditations” released in 2018 is a combination of melodic sounds and distinctive grooves in an exquisite balance, making it a masterpiece that will never be forgotten by metal fans.
Both bands completed a headliner tour in Europe in the fall of 2018 and have now extended the tour to Japan! This is a once-in-a-lifetime tour for Japan! In addition, Alchemy and Tempest Rising from Australia are on board as the support acts! After acquiring even more fans on a recent tour of Europe, Tempest Rising are on tour again, and return to Japan to fire up the stage once again!
